Follow the footsteps of Vikings, Romans, dragons & Kings. Journey from the Chilterns to the mystical North Wessex Downs past mighty iron age forts, ancient monuments and through some of Britain’s most stunning landscapes.

Celebrated as Britain’s oldest path, your 100km route follows the historic trail past Wayland’s Smithy, Uffington White Horse and Barbury Castle, passing through golden fields before the iconic finish where you'll walk between the towering stones of Avebury. Follow in the footsteps of the Romans and write your name into the history books!
