Sow The Seeds Of Change with SRUK

SRUK are challenging the UK to spread some joy - and awareness - by growing some brightly coloured blooms!

Sunflowers are the international symbol for scleroderma, because they turn towards the light - just like those of us who have the condition. In fact, in many languages like French (tournesol) and Italian (girasole), their name literally means 'turn to the sun'.

We're encouraging people to Sow The Seeds Of Change: plant some sunflowers, raise some money for research into scleroderma, and get the conversation going with people who haven't heard of the condition.

So, how do you take part in the challenge?

Easy! Just bag yourself a packet of sunflower seeds and get planting. Then all you have to do is watch them grow - and maybe explain why you're doing it to family and friends.

If you're a Morrisons shopper, you can collect some free sunflower seeds with your shop to get you started.

We've even created a free poster for you to print out if you want to fundraise alongside your awareness raising - just click below to download it.
