Online Fundraising

The online world helps us connect with everyone we know easily.

We've put together our favourite online fundraising tips to help you reach your fundraising goals.

Personalise your JustGiving page

Once you’ve created your page, make it yours. Add your selfie and customise your story. The more personal it is, the better. Share why you’re fundraising for us and ask for support.

Aim high

According to JustGiving, pages with a target raise 46% more. If you reach your initial target easily, don’t be afraid to increase it too. Give everyone something to aim for!

Share, share and share!

The more you share your page, the better. Don’t forget to include a personal message and ask for donations. If you don’t ask, you don’t get!

Drop a few emails or use WhatsApp

Don’t forget there are many ways to share your page and ask for support. Think about who you know and the best way to ask them, whether that be through email or a WhatsApp message. The more direct and personal, the better!

Add a video or livestream

This is a fun and engaging way to show what you’re up to. You could take a video of yourself on a training run and let everyone know what you’re doing and why you need their support.

Keep everyone updated

Did you tackle a hill run early morning before work on Monday? Let everyone know! By keeping your supporters and others updated they’ll be impressed and know how dedicated you are.

Connect your JustGiving page with a fitness tracking app

An even easier way to keep everyone updated is to track your runs through Strava and share them on social media. You can join our club here too.

Thank your supporters

Don’t forget to thank everyone who donates. Personal thanks are great, or you can go public such as through tagging supporters on Facebook - a great way to remind others to donate too!
