SRUK is the only UK charity providing support and information, and funding research into Scleroderma and Raynaud’s. We are dedicated to improving the lives of people with scleroderma and Raynaud’s phenomenon through funding novel scientific research projects.
Our research strategy underpins all of the work funded by SRUK and was developed to reflect the priorities of our community and the SRUK research community. This resulted in the creation of four research themes, which are explained further in our research strategy:
We fund high quality, high impact work across our research themes which will advance the options of diagnosis, care, and treatment available to those with Raynaud’s and scleroderma. As a member of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC), SRUK are guided to ensure we are funding the best research, and researchers within the sector. This is made possible through the support of our peer reviewers, and scientific advisory committee.
